BHS Chorus News 10/9 - Fall Break Edition

Greetings Parents and Students,

I am very proud of our students’ performance at the fall concert!  We’ve already started to work on music for our next concert.  You can catch part of our performance on our facebook page.


T-Shirts & Hoodies
Chorus T-Shirts & Hoodies are now available for sale on mypaymentsplus.com!  All chorus students will need the chorus t-shirt, as we will use this shirt for our spring show.  While we plan on having these shirts available for purchase during second semester, the price will probably go up as there will be fewer orders.  Proceeds from the shirt & hoodie sales directly benefit all chorus students.  Shirts are $12; hoodies are $26.  Deadline to order on mypaymentsplus.com:  October 16, 2019.  Look under "clubs" on MPP.

Honors Chorale
Honors Chorale meets on Tuesdays, afterschool until 3pm.  All dates for first semester are posted on the chorus calendar / eClass. 

District Honor Chorus
Students who were accepted in to district honor chorus received permission forms last week which were due this week.  All info is posted on eClass.

All-State Chorus
Optional rehearsals for students registered to audition for All-State chorus continue on  Wednesday afternoons after school until 3pm.  As we are a month away from the audition, I strongly recommend that any all-state students come to an all-state rehearsal who haven’t done so if they plan on passing the audition.  Confirm with the chorus calendar for rehearsal dates.

BPAB (Brookwood Performing Arts Boosters)
Don't forget...  this year, we are asking all students to cover a $30 program fee.  Make checks payable to BPAB (not BHS).  Please include the form with your payment.  This money will be directly used for our students, paying for choral music, accompanists, our show, events, and more.  If you are able to donate beyond the program fee, we would be grateful for that as well!  Please read for more details, and the benefits of becoming a member of our boosters.  BONUS:  Reserved concert seating for memberships at the DYNAMIC (2 seats) and VOLUME (4 seats) levels!  Includes all chorus memberships made for the 2019-2020 school year.
