Braves Tickets
Braves tickets are still on sale!  Nearly 50% of our seats are gone now.  Field trip forms are due March 31, but tickets can still be purchased through July 18.  Click here for more info.

New York City Trip
Announced in class today, we are traveling to NYC March 21-24, 2024!  Students will participate in a choral workshop with Broadway artists next year!  We will also get to tour parts of NYC and see two Broadway shows!  Click here for the preview presentation.  Please note that more details will be released in April.  I will be able to answer questions during that time, and at our parent meeting.  We are still waiting on airfares to be published along with the Broadway calendar.

Spring Show Rehearsal Details
The Spring Show will be here before you know it!  Tickets go on sale in April via GoFan.  The info below is for students.  All spring show performances & rehearsals take place in the Brookwood Theatre.

• May 1:  Seniors, solos & small groups only; after school until roughly 4:30pm
  • Includes ALL individual song solos/small groups, ALL Seniors, Honors Chorale, Trio, & Quartet
• May 2:  All classes; after school until 6pm.   Students will call home if we end sooner.  (Summative/test grade)
• May 3:  All classes; after school until 5:20pm.  (Summative/test grade)
• May 4:  Show night; call time 6:15-6:25pm; performance starts at 7pm (50% of the performance final exam grade)
• May 5:  Show night; call time 6:15-6:25pm; performance starts at 7pm (50% of the performance final exam grade)

**These rehearsals & concert/show dates are also in the syllabus
 
Spring Show Attire Requirements
 - Grey 2023 chorus t-shirt (“music staff/leaf” shirt) with NON-RIPPED, full length jeans & sneakers/tennis shoes.
 - Do you need the 2023 Brookwood Chorus T-shirt?  Please pay your chorus dues to get the shirt.  Chorus dues were paid back in August 2022 and include the chorus shirt.  I ordered shirts back last semester for everyone who gave me a shirt size, so I have shirts for folks who haven’t paid yet if you gave me your shirt size.
 - If you have not paid for your chorus shirt/chorus dues yet, please go to eClass and find the chorus dues link, or CLICK HERE.  Please pay by Friday, March 31.  You will receive an email receipt from paypal.

Augusta University Visit
The Augusta University Singers will be performing for chorus students and holding a Q & A session on March 14, 2023 during 5th period.  All chorus students are invited to the theatre for this performance.  Students are responsible for all missed work during this time.  One of our chorus alums, Abigail Joseph, is part of this ensemble!
