Greetings future Brookwood High Chorus Students & Parents, and welcome to registration for the 2026-2027 school year! My name is Carter Still, and I am so pleased that you are interested in selecting chorus as one of your classes for next year!
Today’s Brookwood Chorus members are part of a long-standing tradition of choral music excellence. Our students frequently perform at the Georgia Music Educator Association’s District 13 Honor Chorus, All-State Chorus, All-State Reading Chorus, Governor’s Honors Program, and more. Joining Brookwood Chorus opens up a wide variety of opportunities for students who love to sing, and enjoy making music.
All students are welcome to join Brookwood Chorus regardless of their musical background, as there is a place for everyone! There is no audition required to join Brookwood Chorus. More advanced students will have the opportunity to audition into our higher-level chorus classes after their first year, as well as participate in auditioned after-school ensembles. Special groups include Honors Chorale (mixed ensemble), TTBB Quartet, Treble Trio, and more.
Chorus students also have the opportunity to participate in various trips beyond LGPE, Honor Chorus, and All-State Chorus. In March of 2024, the Brookwood Chorus traveled to New York City to tour and performed in a workshop on Broadway! In 2025, we traveled to Universal Studios, and in March of 2026, we are singing at Disney World. Stay tuned for more exciting info about our 2026-2027 trip!
To register, please select Beginning Treble (Sopranos & Altos) or Beginning Tenor/Bass (Changing Voices - Tenors & Basses) Chorus on your registration sheet. Please understand that “Beginning” simply means first year high school chorus, and is a natural progression from 8th grade “advanced” chorus.
Find out more at Rising 9th Grade Night on in early 2026.
