Fall Dress Rehearsal – Required/Test Grade Date: September 28, 2026 Location: Brookwood Theatre Time: 2:25pm-5pm. The vast majority of students will *not* need to stay for the entire rehearsal time. Chorale students will be released last. Stay tuned for a more exact schedule. Cell phone usage is strictly prohibited during all rehearsals. Students do not need to wear formal concert attire for the dress rehearsal. Uniform Update If your student already ordered uniform pieces, they arrived this week and were already passed out. If something is wrong, I need to have any corrections emailed to me and anything returned to me to exchange by Tuesday, September 8. Please make sure take care of all hemming on your own. Do you still need to order something? Click here for requirements & to order late. You will have to pay separately for shipping at this point. Remember: Hemming dresses/pants, black socks & black shoes are your responsibility. Tennis shoes, sneakers, boots, flip flops, sandals, etc. are NOT appropriate for formal concert attire. Braves Game All students participating in the optional Atlanta Braves game performance have rehearsal from 6-7pm on Thursday, September 10 in the Brookwood Theater. Over 120 7th-12th grade students in the Brookwood Cluster are singing at this event, and over 600 tickets have been purchased from folks in our cluster! The Braves organization extended our deadline (since our group tickets sold out), but once those tickets go, they're gone! The shirt order deadline has passed though, and cannot be extended. Every student performing MUST have a Brookwood Cluster Chorus shirt to perform. Click here for more info. Are you a part of BPAB? Are you a member of the Brookwood Performing Arts Boosters? Sight-Reading Factory Students will be practicing their sight-reading skills outside of class from time to time using the online platform sight reading factory. Accessible via google classroom, this tool gives singers real time feedback so they can see if they are singing the right pitch at the right time! It should take only a few minutes - unless your child wants to go for perfection. We will use this platform occasionally throughout the year. Calendar Click here for our digital calendar!
